Adequate Training for the R-Licence 

Hunters applying for the Restricted NSW Game Hunting Licence (R-Licence) to hunt on declared public land are required to be members of Game Council Approved Hunting Organisations and have completed adequate training.

Adequate training can be in the form of the following:

a) Completing an existing hunter education program, which has been accredited by Game Council NSW (see below)

b) Recognition of Prior Learning

c) Completing Game Council's "NSW Hunter Education Program.''

To date, the following hunting organisations have applied for accreditation by Game Council NSW for their training programs pertaining to requirements for the Restricted Game Hunting Licence (R-Licence):

BPC certificates must be presented to a Game Council Nominated Assessor to obtain accreditation for the R-Licence application form
